02. Rewind

$0.75

LISTEN

I believe this is the most recent song on the record. Volumen-2 pretty much pulled it out of his magic hat during the end of the recording process. We spent some time on accoustic guitars getting all the parts just how we (Volumen-2) liked em and this is what came out. I think it typifies this new record's concept. Especially our thinking of "It's no longer a song, unless a couple of drunk dudes with accoustic guitars can cover it at a campfire." That makes perfect sense, right?

01. Push Too Hard

LISTEN

This song was written during the recording process for Skipper of Reverses. When it started out it felt like a southern rock song, but we ran it through our "Crazor Filter" and this is what came out. Everyone contributed a little bit of this song, including lyrics. It might be one of the best examples of how we write songs these days. That is to say, it's getting harder to bully a song through the machine unmolested. But, that's a good thing.

00. Skipper of Reverses (full album discount)

$6.00

This is all 11 songs from Skipper of reverses. Yup, that's right, 11 songs. On the first 200 records there was a bonus track for "Cocaine (radio edit)". This will never be released again.

This was also recorded in 1996. Volumen-2 asked me to lay down a crazy feedback track. I did so, not knowing that he had ideas for the rest of the song. Then I proceeded to get so jazzed on the feedback track that I did another one. So, that left him with 2 track to make his actual song. I know, I know... I'm a dick.

06. Internet Girl (demo)

LISTEN

Generally I'm talking out my ass when I tell you when these songs were recorded. BUT, this tape actually says 1996 right on it. Boosh! This was recorded in the first week or so of Volumen-1 and Volumen-2's new life together in Missoula. Ahhh... cute.

P.S. I love calling a song a "demo" when the "real" version was recorded on a just slightly better rig and released to virtually the same amount of people.

05. Volumen-2 Bumpin' Instrumental

$0.25

LISTEN

I have no idea what this song was supposed to be called. We're gonna have to ask Volumen-2. Alls I know is that it is freakin' bumpin!

Put this baby on in your tiny car with giant wheels and ridiculous sound system and then pull up next to me at a red light and piss my shit off. Please.

03. Bullshit

$0.00

LISTEN

Written in the old Hickey House in Laramie (after an apparently bad week, I'm guessing). This little beauty went on to be performed by Volumen around 96-97 with Volumen-1, Volumen-2, Sammy James (Volumen 0) and FrankenBrian (Volumen X). I don't think it got much play with any later line-ups.

Now with extra swears!!!

02. Teejay (demo)

$0.25

LISTEN

This was written in the old Volumen house on Dearborn. Once again, Volumen-1 attempts to woo a fancy lady with a song and makes all sorts of promises that he can't keep. Heh.

"My body lights up like ASCII text, still I proceed to sing what's next"

NERD!
