This may be the first SKOC song ever written. SKOC originally was made up Volumen-1 and my next door neighbor Derek. He was like 6'7" and gangly as all hell. He would have been a great frontman, but he couldn't really sing. Anyway, he and I recorded a version of this song on a 4-track at a buddies house. Then I kicked him out of the band. This version was recorded with Jason Coombes as part of the session for the Hey Lady 7". I think that much of the lyrics were "borrowed" from the Violent Femmes. Gimme a break, I was 18 years old and it was my first song.
