This is the original recording of this song. It came into being as one of the first round of "1st takes only" projects in the old house on Dearborn. Doug and I each wrote half of the lyrics and it's a pretty accurate representation of 5th-6th grade for us. We both went to Loy Elementary school on an Air Force base in Great Falls, Montana. Yes, we did mock Doug originally because his Mom always drove him to school. Yes, Doug did kick me in the dick. Yes, I do have a grip of death.
