The song that was to eventually become Dune was first created when Volumen (performing as Nemulov) scored Nosferatu for a Halloween showing. Doug wrote the intro riff with his crazy ass pedal. Then, somehow it got turned into an instrumental that we played at our Cries from Space tour kickoff show, I think. We didn't have a title for it. But, someone came up to us after the show and asked if it was the Toto song from Dune, the movie. Rad. And thus, a title is born.
