I remember exactly how this song was written. Doug and I were in a shitty casino in Great Falls and we were talking about how hilarious it would be to have a song that a) said Volumen in it again, cause we have tons of those and b) told you how to spell Volumen with La-La-Las. Also, somewhere along the line we decided to steal the music from Mario Paint by Super Nintendo. I hope to one day find the original version, because in that version we actually just sample the Mario Paint music. Historic note: The background vocals include such people as Becky Hensly and Mike Kote, I believe.
