Cries From Space

This record was recorded in 27 hours in the middle of our Emergency Mustache Tour in 2002. We recorded it at Louder Studios (in San Francisco) with Tim Green (of Nation of Ulysses and Champs fame). It was recorded on a MCI JH-16 24 track. The exact same 24 track machine was used to record Saturday Night Fever. I don't mean the same model, I mean the same damn machine! RAD! I remember that we resorted to scotch taping our eyelids open to stay awake. That didn't work so we walked to the corner store and bought some Seagrams blue stuff that we called the Blue Beast. It helped.
